Our History

Mid-State Communications has a long and successful tradition within the telecommunications industry. Since 1957, Mid-State has been a part of the telecommunication boom, focusing on digital, two-way radio technology and cellular tower installations making Mid-State a turnkey operation for many customers.

Mid-State Communications was founded by Willis Corney in 1957. The company was formed to help aid local businesses and public agencies meet vital communications needs. The 1970's brought a substantial increase in demand of 2-way radios and towers. Sandra Corney took the reigns of the company in 1982. Mid-State continues to keep pace with new technology and servicing local companies and public safety, in serving communications needs. Mid-State is now led by Rick Musacchio, the President and CEO.
